LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 - is a professional American basketball player. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known player. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh in assists. He has been selected as an NBA All Star 18 times. It is a NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He has played in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight between 2011-2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete of NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career as well as assists and rebounds. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. National media touted him as a potential NBA star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. He quickly became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP title in both 2009 & 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after not achieving a Championship with Cleveland. The announcement was made on The Decision.
