Her parents were actors since she was young. His godfather the actor Telly Svalas was a friend of Jennifer's father. His acting career led her all over the United States. Following her time in New York, her parents separated and they were left in the custody that of their mother. At the age of 6, at age six, she began attending the Rudolf Steiner School. It is a Waldorf school of education that employs Rudolf Steiner theories. The talented artist was an excellent painter and her work has been exhibited at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Aniston decided to study acting when she was a part of the Broadway production The Children of a Lesser God. She was enrolled in the New York High School for Actors at age 15. After finishing her studies her job was in the hamburger chain The Jackson Hole located in Manhattan. The company was able to offer some Off-Broadway shows due to her excellent performance in stage productions such as For Dear Life at New York Public Theater or Dancing On Checker's Grave. Los Angeles was her new home in 1989, as she sought more work. The actress appeared on a wide range of television series before the year 1990.
